After the blockbusters of the last few weeks, the new movies for this week are a little tamer. Kevin Costner gets a rare bad-guy role in "Mr. Brooks", playing a successful businessman and loving father with a deep secret life as a serial killer. Demi Moore and William Hurt also star.
Also opening is "Knocked Up", a new comedy that is generating early buzz. The producers of "The 40 Year Old Virgin" take a look at pregnancy. Katherine Heigl, Seth Rogen and Leslie Mann star. Judd Apatow directs.
And finally, we have "Gracie" which is set in 1978, and is about a teenage girl finding the strength to fight the odds and play competitive soccer at a time when girls' soccer did not exist. It's based on true events from the lives of the Shue family (producer and co-star Andrew Shue and Academy Award-nominated actress Elisabeth Shue).
