"Evan Almighty is from director who brought us the 2003 hit "Bruce Almighty" which starred Jim Carrey.
Opening June 22, 2007 it stars Steve Carell, who reprises his role as Evan Baxter, the newscaster from the first film, who finds himself the next one anointed by God (Morgan Freeman) to accomplish a holy mission.
