Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 Movie Poster

Also with an early week opening because of the Olympics, is "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2" which opened on August 6 as well. The sequel to the 2005 original "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" stars Amber Tamblyn ("Joan of Arcadia"), Blake Lively ("Gossip Girl"), Alexis Bledel, America Ferrera ("Ugly Betty"), Kyle MacLachlan ("Desperate Housewives") and Blythe Danner.

The synopsis of the movie is "Lifelong friends embark on separate paths for their first year of college and the summer beyond, but remain in touch by sharing their experiences with each other as they always have - with honesty and humor."
