Latest Megan Fox Movie Poster for "Jennifer's Body"

Jennifer's Body

Current "It" girl Megan Fox is posed provocatively on the movie poster for the upcoming movie "Jennifer’s Body". The movie penned by Diablo Cody (Juno) is about a sexy girl who knocks off many of her male schoolmates. Were the film not written by Diablo Cody, by description it looks like a lame affair. Cody is a very capable and funny script writer so...who knows? This could be worth seeing.

New Movie Poster for Slasher Flick "Sorority Row"

We were confused looking at this new movie poster. At first glance we thought it was a promotional poster for a sixth season of "The L Word". Appears to be nothing new here plot-wise. At least the inevitable victims look great. Film is set for release on September 11th, 2009.

Brand New Foreign Movie Posters for Latest Version of “A Christmas Carol”

Two new movie posters (German & Taiwanese) for the Robert Zemickis directed animated film "A Christmas Carol". Animated in the way "Beowulf" and "The Polar Express" were, this is yet another "re-envisioning" of the classic Dickens tale. For our money no filmmaker ever could come close to fabulous 1951 version starring Alistair Sim. Doing something Eddie Murphy has done in numerous films, Jim Carrey not only plays Ebenezer Scrooge but all three ghosts: Past, Present and Future. Release date for the movie is November 6th, 2009.

Nine New Character Posters for the Movie "9"

A nice looking set of nine character movie posters for the Tim Burton produced animated apocalypse move "9". The "Mad Max" meets "Antz" flick looks like it may have promise if the trailers are any indication. Each movie poster displays a phrase that shares some insight as to the role the character plays in the film. The movie is set for release on September 9th, 2009.

Movie Poster Released for "From Paris with Love"

New Movie Poster for Luc Besson scribed film "From Paris With Love". Interesting design incorporates the Eiffel Tower as the barrel of a handgun. Story tracks a young rookie US embassy employee (Rhys Meyers) as he works with a hardened FBI veteran (John Travolta) to stop a terrorist attack...Gosh that sounds like a unique plot...It is Luc Besson though. Film is set for release February 18th, 2010.

Latest Movie Poster Release for Upcoming Deep Space Sci-Fi Flick "Pandorum"

Well, well...if this movie poster isn't designed to shock, we don't know a movie poster released this year that comes close. This image is designed to represent either the aftermath of a crazy night of unprotected sex, a female version of the monster in John Carpenter's "The Thing" or an update on "How to Get Ahead in Advertising"! It is certainly a design that says "I think I want to see this flick." This sci-fi creeper is set for release in the US on September 4th.

New Movie Poster Released of Rob Zombie’s “Halloween 2”

Wasn't there already a movie made in 1981 called "Halloween II"? Isn’t this Michael Myers character ever going to really be finished off? How many more "Halloween" movies are going to be made? There is no question the best Michael Myers movie made was the first original movie "Halloween". Why do we have to be subjected to a never ending stream of these slashers? Would it have anything to do with the fact that the last Zombie "Halloween" flick made $70 million plus? As the money goes so go the studios.

US Movie Poster for Korean Vampire Movie Phenomena “Thirst”

It's Official! Vampires are definitely very "IN".

"Thirst" was so successful when it was released in South Korea that it had larger box office grosses than "X-Men Origins: Wolverine". The movie is apparently a more cerebral take on a vampire story. Hardly a suggestive design, the film is set for release in the US on July 31st.

"Elementary My Dear Watson" or Should That Be "Hey Jude"?

Sherlock Holmes is being rebooted once again. The new movie posters have been released for the film "Sherlock Holmes". The movie poster designs have that "contractual obligation" thing going on about them. The contract that says, "Only the principal talent can appear on their own in one of the poster designs". The film stars Robert Downey as "Holmes" and Jude Law as his venerable side-kick "Dr. Watson". The film is scheduled for release on Christmas Day so these are indeed advance posters. We are bound to see more movie posters between now and then. In our opinion, it will be tough to match the Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson characters made famous by Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce.

“Pinto Terlarang“ - “Best Movie Poster Design” So Far This Year?

Is the movie poster design for "Pinto Terlarang" the best design so far this year? This movie poster design has it all. Art Deco, a little Bob Peak, cool graphics, and a sprinkle of classic comic book artwork. We love it. The shame is, it may be one of those movie posters that is better than the movie. The Indonesian director Joko Anwar and the producers can only hope they get a US distribution deal that gets this movie here. Then folks can see it and judge for themselves.
